From Third Day's Blog.

We went to the Third Day concert in Denver, Saturday night and it was awesome. David Crowder Band and Hyper Static Union also played. It was a great night of worship to our God. In case you didn't know my favorite band is Third Day. The following is a post from their blog which is here: Third Day Rocks!!Their other site is here: Third Day Rocks!! Their myspace is here: Third Day Rocks!! OK now find the hidden message. They have been singing for Jesus together for 13 years. Go check out their websites and then go buy some of their music.

Prov.3:5-6

Denver, CO

Well, it's about 6 months later than we wanted, but it felt really great to play in Denver. The weather today was great. We actually started out in Colorado Springs this morning, then made the drive this afternoon. Brad went fishing this morning (see post below), while David and Tai went hiking at the Garden of the Gods. I just found out that Scotty spent part of the day at an accordion shop. I didn't even know they had accordion shops.

Tonight's show was in the Fillmore, which is one of the cooler, historical venues in the U.S. You think of an iconic artist from the last 40 years, and they've played here. And it's got a really warm, inviting vibe with chandeliers and balconies. There was quite a line outside this afternoon as the show was sold out. Actually it's been sold out for months. For those not in the know, we were supposed to play here back in March but the show got cancelled due to weather. So thanks to all who've patiently waited for us!

The show tonight had a great energy. It reminded me a lot of the London Palladium shows from the last couple of years, or the Nokia Theatre in New York. We didn't change the set list at all. I think the highlight for most of us was the block of songs from "Cry Out to Jesus" through "Creed". People were singing along and really getting into it. Mac's speaking before "Cry Out to Jesus" was a great moment as well. And he even made a funny in reference to the altitude - we're not used to the clean crisp air of Colorado.

Well, our Colorado run has been an overwhelming success. Seriously, these two shows stand tall with any we've ever done. That John Denver knew what he was talking about.

On to Salt Lake...

At this point, I need to issue an apology to any Colorado fans out there. I made reference to Colorado sharing the national title with Georgia Tech in 1990. I then said they needed to have rematch. So far so good. Then I added that the game would be "pathetic", and received a fair amount of boos What I meant is that neither team is really in the spotlight right now, not that I thought Colorado is a bad team or anything. Go Buffs.
