Paul continues to prove why faith supersedes the Law. In these verses he says that God's promise to Abraham is the same as His promise to Christ. (v.16) The Judaizers said that the giving of the Law to Moses, 500 years after God made the promise to Abraham changed the original covenant of promise. Paul said no and he proves it in these verses.

OK how does this help us in 2008?? We need to learn these things to help us share the gospel with everyone. That's our service to Christ!

"There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's descendants, heirs according to promise."
