.

Last night, Obama made an acceptance speech to thousands of people in Chicago. I guess we can say that change is here, but not change that will be positive. There will be no balance of power in the US government. The Democrats will control the Presidency, the House, the Senate, and possibly, down the road, the Supreme Court. Let that sink in a minute!

Even though, I may not have voted for our next President, I have to keep in mind the my GOD is still in control. The person that HE wanted to be in the office will be in the office.

As Christians, we need to do some things:

1. We need to pray for President Barrack Obama. He's our president, even if we didn't vote for him.

2. We need to still take a stand on the Biblical Values. Our voice can still be heard in Washington on issues that go against GOD's Word! Keep updated on these isssues, there are coming!

3. Don't talk ill-will of our new president. Yes, talk and fight about issues, but don't say he's the anti-christ. I'm reading email's, facebook status', and other places saying that the world is coming to an end because Barrack is president. Your not acting like a Christian when you do that!! Remember God know's all about it.

4. Have Faith! For those of you that are worried, get in "THE BOOK"! Read your bible, daily!
Become a Stronger Christian! Yes, I believe tough times are ahead. All the more reason to know what you believe so we can face the times together.

5. Get close with your Christian brothers and sisters. We need each other to help each other. Do a bible study with each other, grow and learn with each other.

6. Share your faith. Let people know that Jesus loves them and the he died on the cross for them. You never know who God will put in your path.

All of these things, God has already commanded us to do. Do Them! You'll be better for it and the people you share your faith with, will be better for it, too!

My 2 cents,
Jamey
