Yesterday was a great day at Parkhill. We had two great services. I am excited about new people "stepping up" and serving God when there's a need. Thanks Simon, for "workin' the audio" in the second service. Also, you know you have a great wife, when she learns how to "work the audio" in the 1st Service. Thanks Babe!!
In the second service, we started with scripture. The verses went along with our first two songs. Psalms 118:24 and James 4:13-17. The songs were by Lincoln Brewster. Awesome songs that says: Don't worry about tomorrow, think about today, because God want's to work in us today and he want's us to rejoice in Him TODAY. We all should live by this.
Funny moment: I sang "Two Sets of Jones' at the end of the second service, with Kyle Bernstein accompanying me on the guitar. The song was written in the early '90's and recorded by "Big Tent Revival. It's an awesome story of two married couples going through life and it poses a question to the listener about which couple will you chose to be. Anyway, I got a call from someone on Sunday afternoon, they said when Kyle started the song they thought that I was about to sing...get this..."Mr. Bojangles"! They really enjoyed the song after the introduction!

That's hilarious re Mr Bojangles :-) Glad you had a great day Jamey. God bless you.
I could see how they thought that it was mr. Bojangles.
Sometimes you never have a clue where peoples thoughts are going to go...
One time during a stage design...
Someome told us afterwards that it reminded them of the intro to the "I Love Lucy" show.
It cracks me up...
